A Hard Journey and Why You May Need Help Getting Pregnant

It can be difficult when you are both trying to have a child now, or whether a couple may have previously had a child together naturally but are now having difficulty in conceiving also known as secondary infertility.
Even the fact that they do not see anything wrong with either of you to warrant any examinations yet, believing you need to give it more time before investigating further, can in itself cause strain and upset.
You need help getting pregnant when you are inadvertently being told there is absolutely no reason why you should not be getting pregnant. So why aren't you and why do you feel they cannot understand your frustration?
Do you feel you need help getting pregnant because no one seems to be listening, or that you feel you are just another number in a list of other patients.
It needs to be remembered they are not specialists, whether you are experiencing irregular periods, need help getting pregnant after a miscarriage etc., the worse scenario is your doctor may think there is problem but not know what and at best, can only refer you onto a consultant.
In the case of secondary infertility where you have literally conceived first time round without any problems but are now finding it frustratingly hard to get pregnant again, the situation can become very confusing.
You are healthy both inside and out, you may have needed some help getting pregnant and what you may have done in the process is changed your lifestyle, even reduced weight (where necessary) and changed your diet so that there is nothing detrimental to have caused your current situation.
Are you having problems giving your child the brother or sister you dearly wish to? Even with the best support system in place, if having had the heavy burden of going through failed IVF cycles, or recurrent miscarriages, the depth of sadness, bewilderment and feelings of loss may be too much to handle.
The emotional turmoil a person goes through can cause untold unhappiness and feelings of depression. You may have even both come to the conclusion that it is just not going to happen and if you cannot get pregnant naturally then you should try going down the adoption route.
For those who are unable to have a biological child of their own it may be an option if it means they will be able to become parents. Given their individual circumstances, it might be another option they may need to consider seriously as there are many people who do go on to adopt and are extremely happy in having done so.
You may need help getting pregnant if you are over 40. Infertility may have been the last thing on your mind, you have had a good career, thought you would have a break and been trying for sometime now without any success.
Perhaps your intention was not career orientated, you just always wanted to settle down and start a family but never thought you would ever have any issues becoming a mother.
The problems of infertility can be endless as can the causes be such as:
- you are no longer producing sufficient eggs or that the quality of the eggs has decreased
- your periods are heavy or non existent or that
- the internal procedures of trying to diagnosis the exact cause of infertility may have left adhesions which can inadvertently add to the problems of conceiving even further.
The list of possible causes can be endless. If you feel you have tried everything and still you are both struggling to get pregnant, wish to explore other alternative ways and natural forms of treatment that may help what has otherwise been a long and hard journey then click here for natural pregnancy help and advice
